More of MUUSE’s Must-See Fashion Exhibitions

A month ago, we posted a list of our Must-See Fashion Exhibitions all over the world – now we have two very interesting additions to make to that list:

André Leon Talley at Savannah College of Art and Design Museum

A perfect match: André Leon Talley, contributing editor and fashion legend at US Vogue, curates an exhibition in his namesake André Leon Talley Gallery at Savannah College of Art’s re-opened Museum of Art. Savannah College, among the world’s top 20 fashion schools, has overseen a capital expansion project of its art museum which now includes, apart of the André Leon Talley Gallery, exhibition space for a range of contemporary artists such as Bill Viola and Kehinde Wiley.

The exhibition, set to open in spring 2012, will feature Michael Kors, Tom Ford, Valentino and Yves Saint Laurent among others.

Culture Chanel

If you can’t wait until spring to see some haute couture, you should head to Beijing – from November 5th until December 13th, the exhibition CULTURE CHANEL is on show at the National Museum of China (NAMOC), presenting over 400 works including paintings, drawings, photographs, films, sculptures, manuscripts, precious objects, rare documents, fashion, perfume and jewelry.

The exhibition is accompanied by an incredibly beautiful website that showcases Chanel’s designs together with lots of background info – worth checking out on its own!
