Knitted Tromp L’Oeils by Gaia – CPHFW SS13

We were charmed by the spring/summer 13 collection by Gaia! A collection filled with cute knitted garments with details and a colour palette that made my thoughts wander to the world of Sonia Rykiel.

Inspired by Razzle Dazzle camouflage prints, we saw jazzy silhouettes with graphic and tromp d’oeils effects.

I loved the prints on the screen, which set the right mood of the whole show.

Gaia Brandt graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2006, where she studied Fashion Design with a focus on knitwear. With a previous background in tailoring combined with her skills in knitwear techniques, she founded GAIA in 2009, and the brand quickly became known for quality with feminine quirky details.
