Diverse Design Aesthetics at Designskolen Kolding

Copenhagen Fashion Week has just about come to an end. Last stop is Designskolen Kolding’s Graduate Show where 14 newly hatched designers show off their stuff. Most of the new designers seem to have created quite commercial graduate collections.

One of our favorites from Designskolen Kolding is Anna Borg’s sustainable collection ‘Sustainably Elegant’.

Another graduate who’s work captivates us is Lea Zaar. Her collection ‘WhiteThingsAreHardTooKeepClean;’ consisted of wonderfully layered and deconstructed black garments without gender specification.

Our imaginations were teased and tempted by ‘Ta Daaa’ – a collection that investigates playfulness in the design process created by Maja Lindstrøm Hansen & Rikke Juhl Karlsen.

We look forward to seeing what these young designers get up to in the years to come.
